What you get

Built for evidence, not vibes.

01

Prompt panels built around the buying journey

Group prompts by stage — problem, shortlist, comparison, constraint, purchase — so a drop in one stage doesn't hide inside a blended average.

02

Separate signals, never blended

Brand mentioned (with its position), your domain cited and recommended are separate measurements with separate denominators. Share of voice is reported alongside, at the level of answers. “Recommended” is a sentence-level heuristic, and the sentence it relied on is shown.

03

Uncertainty is shown, not hidden

Every rate carries a 95% Wilson confidence interval. A change that stays inside it is labelled “within normal variation”, and anything under five answers says “not enough data yet”.

04

Competitors in the same frame

Add rivals once and see how often each is named in the same answers, in what order, and which sources are cited next to them.

How it works

Three steps, no guesswork.

  1. Describe the market

Add your domain, brand name, competitors and the buyer questions you already hear — or start from the generated starter prompts.

  2. Collect

Each run asks every active prompt on each of your plan's engines, with web search switched on. Automatic runs are spaced to fit your monthly answer allowance.

  3. Open any number

Click a metric to read the answers behind it: engine, prompt, date, highlighted mentions and the sources cited.

FAQ

About Answer Tracker

Is this what people see in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity?

Close, but not identical. Citeroot calls each provider's API with web search on. A logged-in consumer chat can differ: it may be personalised, use memory or run a different model version, and we only hint at location with a country setting. Treat the results as a consistent measuring instrument, not a screenshot of what one person saw.

How often are prompts run?

The cadence is derived from your plan's monthly answer allowance divided by your panel size (active prompts × engines): daily when it fits, otherwise every two or three days, or weekly. Scout (60 answers a month) runs about weekly. You can also start a run by hand while allowance remains.

Which engines are supported?

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI and Grok are not supported.
